Our oldest daughter Rachel and my dad (Pop-Pop)were picking on each other (as they like to do) when a crazy idea came into existence --Glow-in-the-dark Deodorant!! The funny idea continued to be the center of many jokes for months after and grew more and more interesting. When December came Rachel decided that she wanted to make a bottle of glow-in-the-dark deodorant to give to my father for Christmas! We took an old, used bottle of deodorant and cleaned it out. We added rolled up tissues to the top deodorant part and taped it across the top with clear shipping tape. Then painted it with glow-in-the-dark paint. Amazingly, it look very much like real deodorant!! The outside labels we made on the computer and they looked like this: The front: The back: No it's not real deodorant, but Rachel and my dad sure had a lot of fun with the crazy idea!! |
Do not grow slack in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in tribulation, steadfast in prayer. Contribute to the needs of the holy ones, exercise hospitality. ~ Romans 12:11-13
