When this snow fell a week ago, my youngest kids (Abby, Naomi, and Caleb) were excited to build a snowman! But sadly, it was too light and fluffy. It was totally worthless for making a snowman. Now that it sat for a few days in the warmer weather it's nice and sticky. So they sank their glove-covered hands into the cold, white joy of making a "Snow Princess"!
And here is the "snow princess"!
I don't think Caleb's old enough to understand "princess" or he may have not liked his older sisters saying it was a girl!
He sure didn't look like he cared as he stood in front of the woodstove and warmed himself from his "princess" creating. Once I removed his wet coat and gloves, he was a very proud little fellow as he marched to find a blanket so he could warm-up.
Oh and here is another snow sculpture:
Joshua and Elizabeth created a snow turtle! Isn't he cute!?
P.S. It snowed again today, so the "Snow Princess" and the "Snow Turtle" are now buried in 5 inches of more white stuff! But the kids were outside again today and they now have few more snow-buddies!
